Our Story

On a hot summer day in July of 1945, Alice Handel began serving ice cream in Youngstown, Ohio. With the finest ingredients, she made her ice cream one batch at a time, using personal recipes and fresh fruit from her garden. Today, over 75 years later, Alice's dedication to quality and service has remained the same. The Handel's way is to serve with a smile and always use the best ingredients in abundance. WE NEVER SKIMP!
